As President of Mdeon, I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Mieke GOOSSENS as Managing Director of Mdeon as from May 1, 2019.
The journey of Madame Goossens is as rich as it is varied. A lawyer by training, she worked for 10 years at the Bar in Brussels and Leuven for law firms specialised in healthcare law. She also worked as a legal counsel for pharma.be before joining Mdeon 3 years ago as President and Coordinator of the Visa Office and as a member of the betransparent.be Management Committee.
Mieke Goossens is the choice of expertise and stability: she knows the platform as well as its members and partners, having exercised a coordinating function for 3 years. As a result, she successfully passed the selection tests after presenting to the Recruitment Committee her strategic vision for the development of Mdeon.
This decision is also a continuation of the work done by Stéphanie BRILLON who led Mdeon since its creation in 2006 and who decided to give a new direction to her career as director of SSMG. On behalf of all the members of the platform, I would like to thank her warmly for her many years of collaboration and her continued motivation!
We wish her and the new managing director Mrs Mieke GOOSSENS all the best for their new professional challenge!
